A downloadable game for Windows

Easter Crisis is a game that I developed with a tight schedule for a game programming competition in 2006. Bernard Gatt helped me out on this by providing the game's graphics. The game was certainly inspired by the marble-popping games of the time and should be easy to get the hang of. We did not have time to polish the game, but I think it was a good effort and a nice free game to try.

Instructions:

Starting The Game

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To start the game, click on the easter.exe icon.
Main Menu
~~~~~~~~

The main menu contains the following options:

New game - start a new game from stage 1-1

Continue - start a game from where you previously left off

Prologue - read the game story and get some interesting info

Exit - end the game and exit back to windows

Saving Slots

~~~~~~~~~
Up to four players can save their position so that it can be recalled the next time that you play the game
Game slots can be selected by clicking to put a checkmark on the desired saving slot
A thumbnail of the currently saved stage is displayed beneath each numbered slot
Playing The Game
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The game is controlled with the mouse.

The aim is to remove all the eggs from the level.

The eggs are removed by throwing similarly coloured eggs to group them into three or more eggs.

The eggs are thrown with the left mouse button.

The right mouse button is used to swap the currently selected egg with the next one.

If the eggs reach the end of the line, you have to restart the level.

If the egg-o-meter on the right side of the screen fills up, no new eggs will be generated.

Adjacent similar eggs will attract each other and can be pulled back.

p - un/pauses the game

Thank you for playing, we hope you have a great time!
